Military dog is torn away from beloved sergeant. They finally reunite after 2 years apart!

Sergeant Jason Bos and his K-9 partner Cila spent five long years in Iraq working side-by-side. They were together through 100 missions, which included working with the secret service and detecting roadside bombs.

Back in 2012, the sergeant retired due to a back injury, he had to go back to the states… without military dog Cila, a beautiful chocolate Labrador.

Depressed and heartbroken, Sgt. Bos wasn’t sure if he’d ever be reunited with his best friend ever again.

Two years passed, and not a day went by that Sgt. Bos didn’t think about his Cila. However, Bos later found out that Cila was about to retire from her service, too. With the help of the American Humane Association and Mission K-9 Rescue, Cila was flown all the way from Germany to Chicago to reunite with Sgt. Bos at O’Hare International Airport.

The second a military dog Cila hears Sgt. Bos’ voice, she knows it’s him.

Reunited at last the two soldiers are now living their lives of retirement at Sgt. Bos’ home in Michigan.
